In the camp "Barvinok" in Novyi Rozdil the works on reconstruction and restoring the camp go on! All of us are expecting the opening of this sanatorium in autumn of 2009. That place should become the spiritual, educating, out-of-town centre of the western-ukrainian SDA church. Day by day the administration of Western Conference of Seventh- Day Adventist church, workers, builders and our friends bed every effort to this beautiful blessed by God place. Soon here will start the evangelistic program, which will be provided with the brothers from Germany. The theme of seminars will be connected with ours families and spirituality. In that year we had had already the project like that and the camp "Barvinok" had received in minimum 200 people coming to visit this program, a lot of them were youth (later 42 of those people made a covenant with God through Biblical baptism). The evangelistic program was lead by well-known evangelist from Germany ─ Ulli Ottschofski and his wife Hannele, together with them as always brother Harold. So, we are waiting with gladness and joy our brothers and sisters this year! All it are for glory of our God! And now ‘Barvinok’ isn’t empty! Routinely here had been taking place medical-missionary schools, the sessions of Western-ukrainian prophecy school, recently here we had the children’s’ camp, also the summer pastors’ camp. So, let our kindly Father bless you ─ teachers, students, workers, builders and sponsors, our friends and helpers!
From June, 14 till June, 18 in the camp "Barvinok" in Novyi Rozdil the summer pastors’ camp took place. The participators were the pastors of Western Conference of Seventh- Day Adventist church, in general 60 pastors. This project was the first in the history of SDA church in Western Ukraine. Ellen G. White had strongly recommended those camps for our pastors ─ for their education, growth, real communication and rest. The main theme of this congress was sanctifying, the steps to the spiritual growth, the ways to become adult in God. Day after day the pastors had the opportunities to listen to the words of God, to communicate with each others, to give to others precious tips and their experience, pray together and just became friends! Thanks to God for those opportunities and His glorious education for us, thanks to the administration of the camp "Barvinok"!
