Our goals
The Church of Seventh Day Adventists has been realizing the mission of proclaiming the message of the three angels from Revelation, chapter 14, since 1860's, when the Church had just been founded. The propagation of a healthy life-style among people is an essential part of it. For this reason since the 19th century everywhere, where it is possible, the Seventh Day Adventist Church has been creating various establishments such as sanatoriums, hospitals, schools, universities, rehabilitation centres and spiritual retreat centres, publishing houses and printing offices, and many other institutions, which promote the fulfilment of this mission.
The aim of the Adventist center of Christian service «Novyi Rozdil» is also to fulfil this mission. In spite of the fact that reconstruction in «Barvinok» has been begun now, certain measures hve been conducted here every year:

The joint history of “Barvinok” and SDA Church originated in 2000, when the children's ministries department of SDA Church under the direction of Galyna Samijlenko organized a camp, where about 200 children could take a vacation and become more healthy. At that time the buildings were intact, not destroyed recreation center. May be the idea of establishing a special center of Christian service was born in the heads of Church leaders of the Western Ukraine, though it was still a long way off. It is no secret that the financial situation in Ukraine after the difficult 1990’s has been extremely difficult and is reflected in the means of the Church and its members
In the town Novyi Rozdil a small community of adventists has been organized and now it carries out the service of rescue. Opening of base “Barvinok” will be the powerful testimony about the Saviour for all of surrounding cities and villages, in fact here we are going to open a sanatorium, where hundreds and even thousands of people could get knowledges about Lord and rescue offered by Him. This summer we are planing to conduct here evangelic program since July 23 till August 3 and now we are actively preparing for this.
It is needed a great deal to do, to put into operation at least 1 or 2 buildings, where the participants of this program could live and feed! Except for sanatorium which would function all year long, it would be also possible to organize camps for children and youth, pathfinder's camps. Unfortunately, now we have to rent such territories for that purpose and pay not small money for this.
We have made an attempt to describe shortly our aims and plans as for the reconstruction of base “Barvinok” and near-term outlooks of its use!
